An audit of an interface that lived inside someone else's app — where every inconsistency belongs to two teams at once — followed by the token work that resolved it.
About Project
Product Overview
The kit was embedded into host applications with their own type scale and spacing, so components looked correct in isolation and wrong in place.
The Role
I ran the heuristic evaluation, mapped every finding to a severity, and rebuilt the affected components against tokens the host could override.
Problems & Challenges
Contrast failures and hit targets that shrank on dense hosts, plus a component library that assumed it controlled the page.
